Since 1865, we’ve stood up: For hard work. For solid values. For sycamore trees. And for you. We believe in public schools, public health, and the public good. We pursue happiness. Fairness. Opportunity. And the chance for every person to get a great education.
That’s why we offer more than 100 majors, 70+ online programs, and endless opportunities for our students (undergraduate and graduate). We challenge them to grow and learn inside and outside the classroom. And to make an impact on the community, whether right here in Terre Haute or halfway around the world.
Indiana State University insurance and risk management student Keegan Beeler launched an online boutique during the COVID-19 pandemic. Now she has a storefront location near campus, and the Sycamore is learning more about sales, community engagement, and connecting with her customers.
Mark Collins helps Sycamores soar as associate professor of unmanned systems at Indiana State. Through innovative research, he inspires students to engage with technology, collaborate with industry experts, and learn everything about flying drones.
Jennifer Mullen educates future leaders in communication and public relations at Indiana State. As senior instructor of communication, Mullen also plays an integral role in inspiring Sycamores to participate in philanthropy work. Through passion and commitment, Mullen motivates her students to make a difference in their communities.
