Athletic Training

Indiana State University provides the first and only Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education accredited Doctorate in Athletic Training (DAT) Program in the nation. The athletic training program at State is filled with a long history, the bachelor program started in 1969, the graduate program in 1972 and now the doctorate program. The DAT program is all about carrying out the rich tradition of excellence at State. It pushes students beyond their comfort zone and although it is rigorous it is very rewarding. The program prides itself on making future leaders and helping students advance their clinical skills.
