The education that lured Mike Hatton, ’02, from his native Hobart. Ind., as a high school graduate to Indiana State University decades ago continues to make the “Green Book” actor excited for the current and future generations of aspiring performers who attend the university. Hatton got his start in the entertainment industry through State’s on-campus TV station, and he’s encouraged by the program updates that allow students to “actively work for the industry while they are here” through actual, practical, hands-on training with ESPN and WTHI.
